Always admiring cigars and the cigar culture, I wanted to know more about the creation of the cigar and how to create my own blends. While living in San Jose and attending the University of Costa Rica in the late ‘90s, I was able to spend some time touring tobacco plantations. It was while walking in the tobacco fields throughout Latin America that I found my love for the Costa Rican leaf. I believed that I could create a blend that would showcase the unique qualities of the Costa Rican soil and environment.

After completing several blends, Adrian’s Costa Rican Cigars were born in the early part of 2008. A friend at a local retail store in Central Texas fell in love with Adrian’s and convinced me it was time to bring my well kept secret to the States. It wasn’t easy, but I do believe that these blends are a unique Costa Rican treasure that will impress even the most critical palate.
